5 Places to Vacation if You Want to Increase Your Chances of Bumping into a Celeb

Thinking of going on vacation and stargazing while you’re there? To be clear, we’re talking about Hollywood stars here, though there’s certainly nothing wrong with taking some time to marvel at the wonders of space.

But still, for many fans, there’s nothing quite like the rush of excitement that comes from seeing your favorite celebrities out and about. Now, you won’t find those famous folks just hanging out at random places.

Celebrities like Wood Harris have some favorite hotspots and we’ll highlight those places in this article.

1. The Universal Studios in Hollywood

Okay, so this first entry is a bit of a gimme, but it still counts. If your number one goal for your vacation is to see some celebrities, then it would be a wise move to take part in the famed Universal Studios Hollywood tour.

There’s always something going on at those studios and chances are that you’ll see at least a few famous faces over the course of the tour. If you’re lucky, you may even get the chance to snag a few autographs and have celebs star in your selfies.

Even if you’re unable to spot your favorite stars, the tour itself is still tons of fun and well worth experiencing.

2. Paris, France

Maybe you’re not that interested in seeing celebrities behind the scenes while working at movie sets and you’d much rather see them just casually strolling around town and eating some good food. In that case, you will want to book a plane ticket for Paris, France.

You’ll likely bump into quite a few celebrities if you decide to go to Paris around late September of this year because that’s when the Fall/Winter Fashion Week takes place. However, there are still many stars who like to travel around the City of Lights even if there is no big event taking place.

3. Lake Como, Lombardy, Italy

Another European hotspot that serves as a favorite haunt for many Hollywood notables is the Lake Como resort in the Lombardy region of Italy.

It’s hard to blame celebrities from falling in love with Lake Como. This high-end resort blends together plenty of old world charm together with comfortable areas of residence as well as plenty of sun and surf.

According to Lonely Planet, some notable names who paid a visit not too long ago to Lake Como include Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney, and Adam Sandler.

4. St. Barts

Many celebrities absolutely love spending by the time by the beach and who can blame them. Relaxing on a sun-kissed beach with only blue skies overhead and turquoise waters in front of you is an incredible experience.

As you would expect, celebrities flock to only the best beaches and a favorite sandy location for many of them is St. Barts. St. Barts genuinely looks like paradise on Earth and many of Hollywood’s movers and shakers cannot resist its undeniable appeal.

5. Malibu, California

Vacationing in places like St. Barts, Lake Como, and even Paris is not an easily affordable option for many people. Sometimes, even the Universal Studios Tour features way too many people as well. So, where can you go then if you still want to see celebrities?

If you live somewhere close to California or reside within the Golden State, then you can make the drive to Malibu. Busy celebrities may not have time to go on vacation and would rather just stay home during their few off days, meaning many of them can be found in Malibu.

While in Malibu, TimeOut urges you to head to the Malibu Country Mart. The aforementioned shopping center is visited often by many of the celebs in town and you’ll get to see them just hanging around.

Finding celebrities like Wood Harris while you’re on vacation won’t be easy, but that becomes easier to pull off if you know where to look. By paying a visit to one of places listed above, you’re increasing your chances of having a fortunate encounter with a Hollywood star.
